In 2005, Pacific formed a partnership with James Barham, former Head of the Institutional Sales at Liontrust Asset Management PLC, to launch a new long only fund management company.

The Firm has attracted leading fund managers and has developed a diversified investment management business. It manages over £1 billion in UK and global equities on behalf of institutional and retail investors and is supported by a robust operational infrastructure and excellent client service.

River and Mercantile Asset Management currently manages six strategies in the UK – UK Equity, UK Equity High Alpha, UK Equity Unconstrained, UK Equity Smaller Companies, UK Equity Long Term Recovery and UK Equity Income.
