Royal Opera House Education Department
The education programme of ROH creates opportunities for people of all ages to explore ballet, opera, music and backstage theatre crafts. Guided by ROH artists and staff, they are participants in singing, dancing, composing and playing music, choreographing, designing and making scenery and costumes. From work in schools and colleges to initiatives with young offenders and visually impaired adults, the projects ROH delivers have a positive impact on individuals and communities.
The Sir John Beckwith Charitable Trust has been supporting the ROH education department for the past two years, and will continue to do so for the 2010/2011 academic year.
