Sir John Beckwith Outstanding Talent Awards

Pupils at Harrow School benefit from first-class sports facilities and a huge range of sporting opportunities. The School provides high quality coaching and keen sportsmen can play sport seven days a week if they wish.

Since 2000, the Sir John Beckwith Charitable Trust has offered bursary awards to more than thirty exceptional young sportsmen and helped them to attend Harrow, Sir John’s old school, and achieve their potential on the sports field as well as receiving an excellent all–round education.

Since 2010, Sir John has also taken on the sponsorship of the entire development programme at Harrow for exceptional sportsmen, known as HOST. Utilising top coaching and sports science, the aim of the programme is to ensure sportsmen are able to perform to the best of their ability.
