Pacific Asset Management – Citywire

Pacific Asset Management has launched a Pacific North of South EM Equity income Opportunities Fund, a high yielding concentrated portfolio, managed by Matthew Linsey, Kamil Dimmish and Robert Holmes.

Pacific Asset Management chief executive Matthew Lamb said that there is a growing desire for attractive income and inflation protection through high-quality dividend paying firms across the emerging market spectrum.

He added: ‘The fund management team have an enviable 10-year-plus track record and this fund adopts the same long-standing cost of capital and bottom-up research focused investment process.’

The Irish Ucits fund, which will be co-managed by Robert Holmes, will invest in around 50 to 60 emerging market stocks which offer dividends higher than the yield available in their respective bond markets. The fund will be available at an ongoing charge of 1%.
